On What Point Your Attention While Stuffing Contaier with Hookah Coals

While you are stuffing the container with shisha charcoal, you have to point your attention to the following:

  1. if your hookah supplier is using protective plastic around the container walls, floor, and ceiling, It can be just a plastic that protects from moisture and dust or a Proliner-thermo blanket that also protects from temperature fluctuation
  2. You have to check if your supplier put container-size moisture absorbers. It will protect from absorbing moisture by your hookah coals
  3. Check if each row is marked with a note of how many are in it. This is so you can be sure you get the exact number of master boxes you ordered.

If you have any questions, let us discuss this.

What is the Minimum Order Quantity for wholesale orders of hookah coals?

The minimum order starts from 18 tons of shisha charcoal.

Our hookah coals factory is located in Magelang, Indonesia, so we deliver wholesale orders by sea containers – either 20-foot or 40-foot containers.

We cannot deliver charcoal by air because it would cost 2 to 5 USD per kg – more than the charcoal itself.

In a 20-foot container, we can load 17 to 20 tons of shisha charcoal, depending on size and packaging type. For the popular 25mm cube charcoal with full packaging, we fit up to 18.5 tons. With bulk packaging, we fit up to 19.5 tons as packaging influences the volume.

The 20-foot container’s 33.1 cubic meter volume is the limiting factor – it looks completely stuffed after loading the charcoal boxes.

For 40-foot containers, the maximum weight of 25-26 tons is the limitation instead of volume. We can load 25 tons with full packaging or 26 tons in bulk, but the container is only 40-50% full volumetrically.

Shipping lines prohibit Less-than-Container Load (LCL) for shisha charcoal, so we cannot mix it with other goods. You must order a Full Container Load (FCL) for small quantities under 18 tons. Ordering less significantly increases transportation cost per kilo.

Packaging printing costs increase for orders under 18 tons since lower quantities have higher per-piece costs.

Our general charcoal price list assumes an 18-ton order as the baseline. We can sell less, but you must consider the higher delivery costs and packaging expenses for small orders.
